FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) How do you charge?

We do not charge a call out rate like some other companies, we only charge from when we arrive at your property.

We also offer discounts for OAPís and contracted clients

2) Do you charge for overtime?

We do not charge for overtime, although there is a slight increase in the hourly rate on an evening and at weekends

3) If you give me a quote, will you ever exceed that price?

No, generally if we give you a quote, that price will be adhered to.

All quotes will describe what work will be undertaken.  If additional works are found to be needed, these will not be carried out until we have full consent from whoever is paying the bill

4) What is your normal response time?

We try and respond at the appointed time agreed when your initial enquiry was made.

We also try and fit in with customerís schedules, so if a customer would like us to attend at a particular time, then we will try our best to adhere to that time.

5) If we expect to be late we will let you know.

6) What if I need something done in an emergency and you donít have the parts on your van?

My engineers carry a wide variety of materials and parts in their vans but obviously they cannot carry every part. If for some unfortunate reason, the engineer has not got the required part, we will make everything safe before re-attending with the required part as soon as possible.

We do not employ sub contractors.

If for some reason, we have to have any building or electrical work done, then these 2 trades are subcontracted out to our reputable contractors

7) What payment methods does your company accept? We only accept cash or debit/credit cards.

Cheques will be accepted.
LANDLORD CERTIFICATES

As most experienced landlords will know, all properties which have gas appliances, need to get their appliances tested before the tenants go in, and annually after that with a gas installer registered with the Gas Safe Register.  This inspection covers all gas appliances in the house.
